Hi there! My boy has a new hobby and it is making me so happy!
I brought home seeds in cans the other week and now my boy has gained interest in planting them.

In school they were taught how to make their vegetable plots. We have been doing the same thing at home when he was still too small to join the rest of the family and we were surprised to see him so excited and determined to grow vegetables one afternoon. He helped dig the soil and then clear out the weeds.

With the plot ready he then proceeded to line up seeds. I learned from him that the seeds must not be sown too deeply.

Here are the tomatoe seedlings from days ago ready for transplanting.

And behold the beans starting to grow!
The boy was freakin'out the other night when it rained pretty hard because the seedlings he feared might not make it.

Good thing they were protected and made it through the night.
Pretty soon my little farmer will be presenting our backyard grown veggies!
Come join us embrace Mother Nature's gifts!

AWESOME!!!
